Product Description

Rvinyl Headlight Tint Covers

No matter what type of vehicle you have, nothing beats adding custom features to your ride. With smoked headlights, you'll toughen up the look of your vehicle and add some style to your front end.

While these upgrades deliver plenty of aesthetic benefits, you'll find that having them applied at a tint shop or detailer commands a high fee. That's why Rvinyl has created a wide range of products designed specifically for restyling and DIY enthusiasts. You'll be able to achieve the look you want, but for much less than what you'd pay to have a professional install it. Because all products are designed for nonpermanent installation, you'll be able to change up the look whenever you want without damaging your vehicle.

Headlight tints allow you to create a show-worthy car quickly and easily. Though the headlights may make up a small portion of your vehicle, smoking them can add a stylish accent that suits your style and gives your baby some personality.

While headlight tint smoke can help enhance the look of your car, truck or SUV, it delivers plenty of practical and performance benefits as well. With headlight film installed, your car will have extra protection from dirt, grime and road debris. No matter which color you choose, the tint will protect your lights and prevent cloudy buildup that could make it difficult for the light to shine through. Adding tint over your headlights also adds protection from damaging UV radiation.

When purchasing headlight tint, keep in mind that laws can vary depending on the state or local municipality you live in. Some areas may have strict regulations on the amount of tint you can apply to your vehicle. Be sure to read over your local laws to make sure the tint you want is legal.

DIY Install

Tinting headlights is one of the most fun projects new DIY installers can take on. Because of the smaller surface area and gentle curves, applying headlight tint film is less of a hassle to handle and manage than bigger vinyl wrap projects.

Rvinyl has made the process even more straightforward with a precut headlight tint wrap. Instead of having to measure and cut pieces of film to get the right fit, each kit already comes machine-cut to give you the perfect match.

Once you receive your kit, all you'll have to do is prepare and clean the surface and then lubricate each side with either a 10:1 water and soap solution or some Rapid Tac. Once you've removed the liner on your headlight tint, you can begin applying it to the headlights. As you install the tint, be sure to keep the surface area wet to help prevent premature adhesion or scratches.

After heating the tints, trimming away the excess and allowing the surface to cure, you'll be enjoying a restyled ride in no time.

Bubble-Release Technology

Purchasing Rvinyl products means you'll be getting some of the thinnest headlight tints available on the market. Because of how these headlight tints are made, you'll find that they apply much like a decal or sticker.

Both pros and new DIY installers alike will find it easy to achieve a bubble-free finish thanks to the adhesive-backed tint film. Most kits feature a hard plastic cover, but because these are made from a film that has air-release technology, the air can escape easily.

As the air goes through the channels in the adhesive and through the liner, you'll be able to achieve a smooth, durable seal. Over time, the film will also breathe, which allows any small bubbles to dissipate. The film will breathe and release air without shrinking or unsticking.

Equipped with the guidance and tools you need, you'll be able to upgrade your vehicle and achieve a bubble-free smoked tint.

Different Smoke Films for Maximum Clarity

Headlight tint film gives your vehicle a smoked effect that is sure to turn heads wherever you go. When you decide to tint your headlights, you'll be able to choose different smoke films for maximum clarity.

Headlight films are typically measured by the visible light transmission (VLT). This percentage explains how much light the smoked tint will block from entering the headlights. As long as the VLT percentage is within the legal range for the state you live in, you'll be able to transform your vehicle by personalizing both the smoke effect as well as the specific color of the headlight tint film.

No matter what VLT percentage, color or effect you choose, you can feel confident knowing that the clarity of your lights won't be affected. Also, every shade except for the matte and static films comes with a clear protective liner, which helps prevent any scuffs or damage while you are installing and squeegeeing on the tint.
